I was having a discussion about how people react differently when dealing with stressful situations in their lives.
Depending on circumstances, some people become reclusive and withdrawn whereas others may need to talk, vent or even lash out. Some may not know how to handle what they are dealing with and are simply going through the motions of life trying to hold it all together and be who everyone expects them to be.
Often times, people are going through situations that we know nothing about. Sure, they may share certain situations and may even post something on social media, but that doesn’t mean that’s the only thing going on in their lives.
I encourage you today to be a little kinder to the people that you meet, check on your friends that you haven’t heard from in a while and especially check on your strong friends that seem to have it all together because more than likely somebody that you know could use a friendly word, a hug or just to know that they’re valued in your life.
You never know what a simple, “I was just thinking about you…” can do for someone.
