Bagels or donuts?
Imagine you walk into a bakery, and you want a donut, cream filling, chocolate, sprinkles, the works. But, you go up to the baker and say, “I don’t want a bagel.” Of course, the baker is going to be confused and asks, “well, what do you want?” But you just keep repeating, “I don’t want a bagel.” There is no way that baker is going to be able to give you a donut if you keep repeating that. After all, how are they supposed to know you want that delicious, sweet donut when you keep talking about a bagel?
That’s how many of us walk through life. We say things like, “I don’t want to be broke. I don’t want to be unhappy. I don’t want to be alone. I don’t want to be sick. Wrestling with and focusing on what we don’t want instead of speaking out and asking for what we actually DO want.
The things you say about yourself, and your life have way more power than you realize.
Whatever you put focus and energy on is what life will give you. It’s the old ‘you reap what you sow’ method.
So today, and every day from here on, speak into existence what you truly want as if someone is taking your order. If you don’t want to be broke, say something like “I want a job that gives me financial abundance, prosperity”. If you don’t want to be unhappy, say “I want to find joy in things and peace and contentment in my life” and so forth.
Stop playing the guessing game and saying what you don’t want because whoever is listening can’t give you what you truly want because all of your energy is blocking their pathway by focusing on the opposite. Start speaking into existence and claiming the sweetness that awaits your life.
