I’ve heard people are like onions, with lots of layers.
But I like to think we are more like this little guy.
Sweet on the inside, protected by a tough exterior, passing out sections of ourselves,
often with some strings attached, leaving seeds along the way.
Today, throw away the bitter peelings trashing your life,
make time to savor the sweet juiciness of your day,
And don’t forget to pick yourself up and keep going.
Life is tough, life is sweet.
